Cllr. Ed Bridges and Cllr. Cathy Pearcy want to hear the views of residents on how parking congestion in Gabalfa ward can be eased.

Liberal Democrats in Gabalfa ward have launched a large-scale survey to give residents a chance to have their say on local parking issues.

Many residents were concerned about previous plans by the council to change parking arrangements, but there was a strong consensus that there is a parking congestion problem on the streets off Whitchurch Road which needs addressing.

Local Liberal Democrat councillor, Cathy Pearcy, told us: "We want to find out what residents think about the local parking situation so we can take forward those views to find a workable scheme which has public support."

Cllr. Ed Bridges added: "We hope that as many residents as possible will complete the survey and give us a strong indication of how the council can address any problems residents are experiencing."

Residents in the area should receive their copy of the survey over the coming weeks - but if not, drop us an e-mail with your details and we'll ensure one is sent to you.
