Listening to residents over Hailey Park plans12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Tue 16th Jun 2009
The Liberal Democrats in Llandaff North have responded to concerns about the proposed Scansis Mini Pitch in Hailey Park. Following a public meeting in April to discuss the proposed Scansis Mini-Pitch for Hailey Park, council officers have been asked to submit revised plans. Local residents had voiced a number of concerns about the facility being installed within the tennis courts, and suggested locating the Scansis within the children's play area. Cllr. Jacqui Hooper said: "We have listened to residents' concerns and are working closely with officers to ensure that this facility is correctly located. This Mini-Pitch is much needed for our young people and we shall be keeping residents informed of revised proposals."
