Gabalfa ward PACT meeting dates for 2010

10.49.18am GMT Fri 22nd Jan 2010

The Gabalfa Lib Dem Focus Team want residents to be aware of the dates for this year's PACT (Police & Communities Together) meetings in the area.

PACT is an opportunity for local residents to raise concerns and issues with their Neighbourhood Police Team and Local Councillors on matters in the community. Recent meetings in Gabalfa ward have addressed issues such as anti-social behaviour at Maitland Park, problem parking around Parkfield Place and road markings at Africa Gardens.

The calendar of meetings for 2010 is as follows:

o Tuesday 2nd March 2010

o Tuesday 11th May 2010

o Tuesday 15th June 2010

o Tuesday 20th July 2010

o Tuesday 7th September 2010

o Tuesday 19th October 2010

o Tuesday 7th December 2010

Meetings start at 7pm and usually last for about an hour and a half. The meetings generally take place in the function room of the St. Joseph's Social Club on Whitchurch Road, but it's always best to check first by contacting Cathays Police Station or your local councillors.
