Cardiff North Lib Dem candidate, John Dixon, has criticised Conservative proposals to cut taxes for millionaires. The Lib Dems believe tax cuts should be targeted at low- and middle-income households.

Following more local job losses, Lib Dems are calling for more action to help struggling families in Cardiff.

Local campaigner, John Dixon, has criticised Conservative plans to cut taxes for millionaires. It follows news of 33 more local job losses at Amadeus International in Llandaff North.

John said: "Many local people are struggling to get by and are fearful for their jobs. In that sort of climate, you have to wonder about a party that prioritises tax cuts for millionaires rather than helping ordinary people."

John is backing the Lib Dem tax plan that will cut £700 off the tax bill of middle and low income earners.

John said: "It's a simple choice. The Lib Dems believe that the very rich should pay their fair share so we can cut taxes for ordinary families. But the Tories seem to believe the very rich should pay less."

No wonder more and more people are switching to back the Lib Dems in Cardiff North as the real alternative to Labour!
