More traffic wardens will soon be hitting the streets of Heath and Birchgrove, thanks to Cardiff's Liberal Democrat council. From July, the Council will take over responsibility for parking enforcement from the Police - and one of the first changes will be an increase in the number of parking attendants. Focus Team member Katrin O'Malley added: "We are also delighted to see that the Lib Dem Council has listened to our concerns and those of residents about the access road to Heath Park. Work is now underway to repair the grass verges in the Park and install wooden bollards to stop the casual parking on the park. And we look forward to the installation of the parking meters in the Model Railway car park."

Meanwhile, Fenella has been having further discussions with the Council, UHW, and Cardiff Bus to find further ways to reduce the number of cars coming into the Heath around the hospital.
