War on Graffiti

4.20.00am BST (GMT +0100) Sat 17th Jul 2010

The Heath Focus team has declared war on graffiti in the ward.

Councillor Fenella Bowden has been busy with Katrin O'Malley and Steve Bowden reporting new outbreaks of graffiti to the Council. As seen in the photograph, the bridge in Heath Halt Road has been badly attacked, along with the Royal Mail postbox. Fenella said "I am in contact with the Graffiti Team and have written to Royal Mail to ask them to repaint the letter box in Heath Halt Road". Katrin added "It is a shame that we are seeing an increase in graffiti in the Heath area, and I would encourage residents to report new incidents to 101 or to us at the Focus Team".

If residents are interested in helping to eliminate unsightly graffiti, the Council can provide a tub of graffiti wipes. Get in touch with Fenella for more details.
