Llandaff North Graffiti Wiped Out

Following a recent surge of graffiti throughout the ward, usually targeting utility boxes, the Llandaff North Focus Team has been on the case. In an effort to ensure our area is not forgotten by the Council, your councillors Ann Rowland-James and Jacqui Hooper have contacted officers already.

Residents near Heath Park are celebrating after the Council installed wooden bollards to stop cars parking on the grass verges. The entrance to the park had been blighted by workers and students from University Hospital Wales parking along the entrance way, to avoid paying for parking at the Barracks Square car park. Heath councillor, Fenella Bowden, said: "This is part of a programme to resolve the parking problems in Heath Park. We've finally got the poles and I went down this morning and found no cars parked there, so it's working. "I have been campaigning on this for a while and had come down to see people parking their cars and then walking through the hospital. Now hopefully all the plants will return to the grass verges and it'll be better for park users."
